I’m Dr. Syeda Hussaini (optometrist) and am currently working at NYC optical. I provide general eyecare for our patients here. We see children and young adults, as well as geriatric patients. Some conditions we pick up on and manage, for the younger patients are amblyopia, strabismus, refractive errors, and other focusing/binocular issues. We also see and manage quite a bit of the medical side of eye health, such as glaucoma, diabetic/hypertensive retinopathy, cataracts, corneal disorders, etc. Management and/or treatment can include glasses prescription, patching, eye drops (for amblyopia, inflammatory conditions of the eye, and glaucoma), foreign body removal, and referral to specialist for further treatment. -Syeda Hussaini OD
